This is Rye with training wheels: Woodford is notorious for producing smooth sweet whiskeys - which is OK for many palates, but w/Rye I’m looking for some personality, some spice, some wildness, some soul - it’s not here. Use it for cocktails or sipping then go find Michters.

Really well blended...subtle sweetness upfront, spicy finish that is smoother than its 90+ proof. A nice easy-drinking rye that is reasonably priced.
