Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of cooked and dried black fruit, green peppers and leather. Flavors of dried black cherries, prunes, baking spices, tobacco and minerals. Nice hint of black pepper and oak on the medium-plus finish. Tannins are light but so is the texture (watery) and body. A bit out of balance. A part of Ron B’s Cabernet Franc Tasting.

First cab franc, really enjoyed it. Balanced, tannins pretty smooth and nice finish. Good fruit and earthy notes.
