Ok but not convincing. Seems harsh. These earlier versions from Thörle were - may be his training ground???? There is very limited fruit here if any. Brutal acidity. This tends towards crushed marble and limes. I would recommend to take this out of the cellar and drink it up. This will - in my book - go nowhere.

Sep 5th, 2024Very juicy, Beautiful who needs Burgundy? Touch cherry, backing spices, lime. This is ready. Tannins mostly resolved nice acidity.

Amazing nose on this wine. Pure, classic Pinot aromas. Crystalline fruit. Beautiful. But acid is way too prominent. Still. A beaut.
