A Lyle Fass import bought via email alert. Faint strawberry nose. Indistinguishable from an elegant Burgundy. Initially hint of licorice on the back palate. Acidic. Black tea notes. Later mostly red currents and then Rasberries. Reasonable complexity great stuff !!! for the money. A very good excuse to not buy burgundy.

Wow. In a great place. Nose is spatburgunder spice. Palate is crazy cherry, cherry pit, a hint of bitterness. Juicy. Great texture. Bought from Fass Selections. ... as it opens the nose is a panapoly ... gorgeous spice. A hint of cinnamon. Finish has a hint of licorice.
