Blueberries still strike me in this wine. It's added more body and the tannins are starting to turn finer. Plum and mocha notes complicate the palate and nose. Decant 30-60 minutes.

Aug 16th, 2015Has to be one of the best up and coming names in wine (globally), fantastic wine with supers balance and inverse complexities of depth and elegance, floral but fruit rich, a dense core of minerality and fruit, with silky and ripe tannins. Awesome stuff, if there were a flower that had the essence of blueberries it would smell like this wines aroma.

Jun 7th, 2014Solid. A baby so this has a long way to go. Decanted and at about hour 3 it was at its best. Great structure, intense. Countered by fresh and lively blue and red fruits, elegant. Great acidity . Well made this should easily go 20 years.

Not a bad Duoro. Picked this up at Costco. Reminds me of Italian amarones, with a deep raison / port flavor. Had it with beef tenderloin.
