Reserve Alsace Gewürztraminer

Dawn dish soap is the easiest way to describe this wine. There are flutters of peaches and apricots on the nose and some spice on the palate, but this wine is just way too soapy. The palate is viscous and needs some acid - maybe too hot a vintage? Don't drink, pass it off to grandma.

A little syrupy

I aerated this wine and got a very different taste than the other reviews lead you to believe. I found this wine to be very sweet and the strong taste comes in the form of lychee. Not much acidity at all. Leaves me wanting that bite on my tongue I usually get from a white. Very good wine, though. Easy to drink.

b+/A- On the nose honey citrus and peach. On the palate stone fruit and honey confirmed with light herbaceous undertones, grapefruit peel and at the finish lychee. Medium acidity and light phenolics. Really delicious. 2012 vintage reserve. Drunk May 2015

lychee, melon, rose aromas, more lychee and citrus on the palate. sweet, and i wish it had more acidity, but a nice floral finish makes this sit well

Super sweet.

Now that's a Gewürztraminer. Sweet, melon and peach flavor, initially finished a bit tart but as I've sipped it, it's less so. I am happy with this one.
Paired with spicy eggplant.
