Intense fruit with a touch of restraint. A little over concentrated for my taste, but still very well done. Thirty-Fifth Anniversary bottle.

The replacement for the 2010 Bucher Vineyard that showed just enough V/A to dump it.

The 08 Westside Road Neighbors was in fine shape. Love their fruits & profile at this age.

I don’t know if 2011 was a good vintage in Russian River AVA but this is holding super great.

This guy is still packing a lovely punch. Strawberry and cherry. Edges starting to brown. Served with a butternut squash lasagne. Just worked.

Love how this has aged. Caramel, butterscotch with loads of strawberry.

Signature raspberry notes with some stewed characteristics. Spice cake, cola, and roasted plum aromatics. Baked rhubarb and fresh squeezed blackberries on the palate. Bay leaf ripe raspberry finish. Delicious and doing just fine! Thanks @Dan Fitzgerald

Deeply saturated texture of sappy black cherry and raspberry, classic RRV baked pie and floral aromas. Some pomegranate and blood orange flavors brighten up the mid palate along with Asian spice, mint and a bit of mushroom on the finish. Oak and tannins are very well integrated, revealing a dense core of somewhat candied fruit. Acidity is soft but provides a bit of lift for the weighty fruit that reveals its origins from the warm microclimate of the Middle Reach. Lush, dense, succulent. Everything RRV Pinot Noir should be.
