2007 vintage. Decanted with a small amount of chunky sed. Medium body. Nose a little funky but settled down after 3-4 minutes. Wine had purportedly been subjected to a variety of indignities earlier in the day but cork/foil were good. beginning and half of the mid-palate were intact flavor-wise but dropped off significantly after flipping the record over for side two. Will possibly be tasting another bottle of the same in the next few days to accurately assess. Stay tuned. 8.31.23.

This is a big strong Pinot. Sonoma Coast version with almost a smoky character. Will do well with our clams and roasted tilefish

Oct 25th, 2015Big and bold with a lot of fruit: cherries in tannic syrup. Very impressed. Still tastes young. The finish is long and tastes of fig and well structured tannins. This wine could still be drinking young at my 10 year anniversary. Glad I stocked up.
