Luxurious and silky, just delightful. Ripe raspberry and dark red cherry, fades after a time into some barrel spice. Really well integrated tannins. Happy Father’s Day!

Very nice fruit/acid balance at 9 years. A vintage to shine in for the best producers!

Fun Friday evening with great wines.

Classic WS raspberries all over this wine. Bright and acidic. Very fresh and juicy raspberries, fleshy strawberries, stem and herbs. A touch thin on the palate, but time may have beefed it up a bit after I had left. Just a hint of black cherries here, but overall, the profile here is decidedly red fruit driven with a light body and high acidity.

Killer stuff. Dried fig and raisin, plum, currant, black cherry, wild mushroom and earth. Accessible and generous from the second it was opened, developed into a perfect relationship between acid, fruit and tannin.

Smooth as silk. Soft as a feather. All while retaining depth and complexity.
