Beautiful! Russian River at its very best, the Allen Vineyard is all about finesse and this bottle was exceptional. Rose Petals and sweet strawberry with earl grey tea and potpourri spices with a mesmerizing silky texture. The classic WS acidity structure has relaxed without being tired, maybe this is its peak? Doesn’t seem faded and slowing as far as I can tell but no reason to wait!

Cool vintage and no taint. Very burgundian.

Great earthy smell, like a damp dirt floor basement we had at the original farm house. Deep complex tannins are delicious. This is Devine!

One of those great and unique experiences. Cola and eucalyptus and smoke dominate the nose. The palette shows layers and layers of complexity with flavors of earth, chocolate and boysenberry and strewed strawberries. The finish has a hint of cherry tobacco and goes on and on.
