Birth-year wine opened in celebration of a close friend’s 30th.
The wine finds itself quite mature in its presentation of fruit. Heavily dominated by savory herbs on the nose. Screams of dill and thyme. Curious to know the oak program for this wine in these times. Acid structure is what is keeping this wine alive and maintaining freshness in mouthfeel on the palette. Happy Birthday Mo!

Has that old aged Napa/Bordeaux nose that haunts me in my dreams.
On the palate it is a bit less impressive lacking that certain "energy" that would bring it into the old Napa magic category for me.
