I don't think it's the wines fault but it's a little over the hill and past its prime. Flabby fruit, oak soaked sourness, oxidation. Interesting experiment but past its prime.

Very pale straw in color with a light nose of Green apple & pear. Smooth medium body with green apple & pear flavors. Even acidity, slight creaminess and little if any. Very nice-

Good acidity and refreshing in the mouth. Have to admit the slight fruity to citrus taste pairs well with the sushi and sashimi
