I have fond memories of early to mid 90’s Whitehall Lane Morisoli vineyard wines. I drank a lot of them in my early years as an attorney and I couldn’t get enough. This ‘95 is a blend of Morsoli and Leonardini and is waning. Nice reminder but couldn’t go nose to nose with the Arnot Roberts G3 on this night.

Jan 10th, 2017We ALWAYS love this stuff. Not exuberant like many Napa cabs. Fruit-forward , but not so sweet. Shows depth and restraint on the palette. Hats off to Dean Sylvester.

Strawberry Balsamic on the nose. A touch thin on the palate. Just not enjoyable :-/

Feb 2nd, 2016Excellent wine. Big complex nose of cinnamon and burnt oak.
Palette is complicated with pronounced tannins which provides great structure for the wine. Finishes sweet with maple syrup, strawberry jam and black cherries.
I know the winemaker, so my score is biased - so what?
