Not made every year, I found the 09 on the shelf. A little on the decline.
Tight and redyctive upon opening. Opened to deep brambly wild fruit, stewed black cherry. Slightly herbal. Really cool. Color has a tinge of brown (cork had slight seepage). Smooth, texture, more stewed fruits and slightly boozy at 14.1% alc. Overall leaning towards darker flavors. Opened 5/13/17

May 14th, 2017Got this from wine.woot and was pretty unimpressed. There's an off taste that I can't place. It stood up very well with tacos, however! 2008 Syrah.

Mia Mare in Haddonfield. Warm
Seafood salad with shrimp, measles and calamari and spring mix with goat cheese. Dinner of pork tenderloin basted in mustard with cherries and sautéed potato and Kale. Spinach gnocchi.
