Totally called '06 Barolo blind on opening. Lean and floral and wonderful. Whitcraft is never on the ripe and modern side, but this is particularly old school, old world. Another Wow.

So interesting! Has this strong fresh green note that plays with how floral it is, like you’re smelling all parts of a rose garden. I feel like that might be from harvesting early for Santa Barbara? Super pretty light cherry notes that you might predict. Ethereal and lithe. Elegant restraint. Completely drinkable.

Excellent Bibiji’a coproduction, lovely and big and full of cranberry and bramble with acid well balanced and fine tannin structure.

Burst of cranberry and herbs on the nose. Cranberry and blackberry mid-palate. Medium tannins and smooth finish. Great with summer vegetables

Light garnet in color with some transparency. Cranberry nose and cinnamon nose. Cranberry, tart cherry. I now know what people mean when they say stems and bramble. Very lithe and feminine. Perfect with ahi crudo and fresh burrata with fava beans. Birthday celebration #3 and best wine yet

Nice medium-to-lite summer red. Good with lite pasta on a hot day.
