This is one of the more refreshing full bodied Merlot I've had in quite some time. There is a little oak, with some berries and one might even say a touch of tobacco on the nose. The flavor is a masterful blend of cherries and plums with a soft background of oak and vanilla. The finish is light but enjoyable.
