Bitter blood orange

Beautifully aromatic nose, probably starting the best phase right now.
Black cherry with some damson plum, a nice cedar wood note and a healthy dose of spices. Fresh, relatively cool, with stony minerality. Quite distinct and with very little iron or earthy aromas. Enticing.
On the palate this is the finest black sour cherry juice with some plum and a pinch of exotic spice (cloves, allspice, cinnamon, pepper). Beautiful juicy acidity, tannins polished & perfectly integrated. Fresh, sappy, so drinkable. The iron note appears in the very long, mineral finish.
This is singing right now! Delicious stuff!
Wish I had more bottles of this!!

Lighter bodied but flavorful. Not too tart or fruit like a Pinot.

Not sweet, or fruity. Moreso juicy, plums, peppery rich

woodsy + heavy mineral on nose. brambly dark fruit- the adj ‘outdoorsy’ comes to mind. acidic and fairly light-bodied- but has some lingering tannins. light iron-y taste. interesting but easy to drink. (NB: grape is another name for Blaufrankish)

Strawberry aroma, heavy mineral taste, like a light Merlot.
