Rödelseer Küchenmeister trocken Riesling

Wintergreen, lovely nose, mineral, snap peas, airy, so clean, evergreen, like a stream, so pure and clean, ripe and juicy, deep and complex with lovely purity but big and a bit too big maybe? This was a “one of” wine that fermented much later than the Sylvaner GG and was supposed to be a GG. Interesting.

Intensely mineral and a little angular on the first night, I vacuum sealed it and now, two days later, it’s much softer and rounder. Still outrageously mineral on the nose, it’s got a bit of bitter apple fruit underneath. So intense but balanced in the mouth. Stones, green apples, soft but zesty. This will improve over the next coupla years. Great value.

Great vintage for this wine. Mineral, herbal nose. Minty. Juicy, citrusy, clean, long,, opulent and playful. Long. Delicate mineral finish.

Paul made masterful 16’s. What a value. Very very mineral, but with clarity and nuance. Lime zest, loads of rocks. So clean and aromatic. Tons of non fruit going down here. Palate has stunning cut and clarity. Juicy and engagingly minerals. So clean and fresh with dynamite energy and precision. Awesome.
