Finger Lakes Grüner Veltliner

Nose of white flowers, chalky yellow fruits.
Palate has chalky mineral dust over ripe yellow apple.

Crisp and fruity. Like a Riesling.

Silver/Gold color. A fruit basket (lime, lychee, apricot, peach) of aromas along with exotic spices. Pallet also features lychee, lime and apricot, along with an earthy/mineral component and those ever present spices on the long finish. Medium/plus body and tingling acidity. Excellent quality and quite versatile.

2021 Gruner Veltliner. Very good, fruit forward, dry, clear and clean. Excellent taste, goes with or without food. Definitely repeat

Crisp, lean, fruity.

Excellent. Much tamer than some of the Gruners in the area. Highly recommend.

I’m biased because I’m not a big fan of grüner. Oddly this leaned more citrus and not much green pepper.

Up and coming producer from Seneca lake. White flowers , honey notes and some minerality.

A decent Gruner profile, but the flavors are a bit thin and overshadowed by acidity. A good option from Weis.

Weis is a great winery, but this one is off. Weak with no character. Low acidity and no fruit notes make this one boring. Try their other wines
