Electric and complex. Beautiful tension between and acid and sweetness.

Medium straw gold. Quince, minerals, and slight petrol on the nose. Medium full mouthfeel. Rich ripe apple and slate on the palate with medium acidity. Darkish nutty finish.

Rich gold in the glass. Red apple, white flower honey on the nose. Very rich mouthfeel. Honeyed apple and hint of mineral on the palate. Acidity is a bit low -- probably due to age -- but definitely not flabby. Spicy food is its friend.

Delicious! Great acidity and not syrupy sweet...perfect with hard goats milk cheese.

Signs of seepage on this bottle. Rich gold in color. Big nose of apple with trace of minerals. Echoed on the palate buttressed by surprisingly moderate acidity and no petrol flavors. Rich mouthfeel: goes down very smoothly.

WOW--a 15-year-old, first class #Rheingau that is utterly perfect for current drinking--fleshy, supple, sensuous with a long, complex botrytis-infused finish that left us speechless--AWESOME BOTTLE!

light yellow/green colour. really dry with really high acidity.
not very complex but with nice (not very long) finish.
in mouth citrus and flint mainly. before i bought a bottle i had read “petrol” is in… no way. nothing like that. pity. i had this experience once, super heavy petrol notes. it was a bottle of 10 years zilliken riesling. definitely nit this one.

Sweet honey suckle and peanut brittle. Smooth and easy to drink while also nicely mature. I expected less at the price. The cork fell apart like dirt, so that was a fun challenge. Mother's Day wine. (had a second bottle with variation; darker straw color, sweeter... Almost candied).
