Aug 19th, 2022Fresh cut sweet grasses, wild mint, sage, herbs, melon, very clean, very detailed. Also get the ripeness of 2018. Palate is rich yet focused with nice zip and freshness but less than other vintages. Very bright and herbal. Nice sap.

Jun 27th, 2021I love this wine. So refreshing to drink. Nose is greengage, pink grapefruit, lavender, lime, rosemary, white flowers just so so clean. Wow. Huge huge acids on the palate. Just liquid lightning. Loads of lemon, lime and barely apple fruit wirh also so much acid and sweet citrus strands. Outrageous.

Nose has cold Spree candy, green garden herbs, overly dried lemon pith and Clementine peel.
Palate has orange pith and under-ripe yellow peach. A touch of sweetness is quite nice and not obtrusive.
Uncorked and allowed to slow ox. for 24h before enjoying, no decanting.

Love these with a little age. Confectionary aromas big time. Lemon, herbs, gorgeous sage and blackcurrants. Palate is super juicy and clean. So much lemony fruit. Grapefruit, even some papaya, but all framed by great acidity. Nice hit of opulence and terrific freshness and almost a savory element on the finish. Really fresh, well made and full of boundless energy.

Apr 28th, 2020So good. Grapefruit and sage abound on the nose. As well as mineral and some sort of appealing vulcanized rubber. Deep nose and even some florals. Palate is so clean it’s like spring water of Scheurebe. So damn mineral, juicy and balanced. Terrific finish and energy.

Some good green herbiness, thyme, sage, parsley. Maybe lemon verbena or myrtle. It blows up to spearmint. Very bright citrus pith. Honeyed grapefruit. Ginger. Celery salinity. Great acid. Not as mineral as the sylvaner that they make but juicier. I could glou this stuff like crazy. Thank you @Lyle Fass

Leave open an hour. Nice wine with Indian food, which really brought out the complex flavors. Starts with a citrus flavor and ends in vanilla. Very nice buy.
