This is trocken @Delectable Wine . soaring aromas of grapefruit, sage, minerals and green veggies. Palate is opulent and chiseled with nice grapefruit pith fruit. Balanced and super pure.

Apr 7th, 2017This wine is a vinous gift to the world. What a nose. Mineral, bath soaps, lavender soap, sage, black currents, grapefruit, all dancing with each other in perfect vividness. Stunning aromas. The palate is perfection. Juicy and pure with a perfectly judged kiss of sugar. An outrageous, holy shit bottle of Schuerebe.

Sep 5th, 2015Schuerebe Feinherb 2014. Amazing nose of mint, grapefruit, fresh sage. Very elegant and ripe with a cool nuttiness and deft persistence. So juicy and sleek.

2015 vintage. Aromatic and zesty. Pink grapefruit, red currant, iris, lime zest, a certain saltiness, white rock dust, unripe melon, and agave- or cucumber-like combo of greenness and super-freshness. Very good example of trocken Scheurebe, which is not always my favorite style for the variety. Purchased from Fass Selections for first time ever and very pleased!
