Oh, how I miss Terry Theise!
Classic Kabinett balance here, with plenty of fresh fruit sweetness.
Medium yellow.
Nose of pineapple, orchard fruits, touch of honeyed richness.
Palate medium+ sweetness with balancing acids. This feels nearly timeless and not very mature yet.

2017 vintage. Pure honey and white flowers on the nose. Nectarine, honey, honeydew melon, honeysuckle, jasmine tea, poached pear, sweet apple, Rainier cherry, candied lemon. Lots of complexity and long finish. Weight and sweetness suggest more of a Spätlese profile.

Great stuff. Acid off the charts. Sweet and fruity (just like some people I know).

Served with brats, braised cabbage, potato salad and cranberry sauce. Pale yellow. Vibrant, pit fruit driven aromas. Luscious, medium plus sweetness was an excellent foil to the sausage and spicy mustard. I would call it classically balanced. I think it will age well, but who knows with the screw cap?

At first tight on the nose with stone fruit and hints of herbs, yet quickly opened to reveal tropical citrus and lemon zest with a mineral tinge and cheese rind note. On the palate, it displayed angular textures with tart citrus, a twang of acidity, and minerals coating all of the senses. It was mouthwatering through the finish with notes of grapefruit and green apple.
