Feb 21st, 2017Pale lemon in color.
Strong nose of bitter herbs, grapefruits, green beans, green apples, flowers, light diesel, white pepper, minerals and salt.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, sea salt, white pepper, minerals, bitter almonds and cream.
Long bitter finish with sea salt on the very ending.
A Good quality Riesling. This is actually my first Riesling from Austria.
Dry, bitter and creamy, yet refreshing. Better with food than just by itself. The nose reminds me of Sauvignon Blanc. It is, however, too bitter for my taste, but it does have nice acidity. I would like to see this again in a few years from now.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
