Upon opening there is the piggy odor, with a hint of black pepper. You have to give this one a mo for the pig to dissipate, and are left with a much nicer nose of pepper and ripe fruits. Mild tannins, dry, and light. This one is tricky because it doesn't give up it's secrets very easily, but nice ripe fruits.

Deep violet. Forest floor and wild dark berries. Good stuff for the price. Some slight funk with good acidity on the finish.
