What a treat. Rich and full, tart balance. Stones. Honey. Ripe apples. An honor to drink this magic.

Dry, full, austere. Good with smoked salmon from the farmers market

Definitely shows the vintage. Unripe and lean this plays more on the phenolic and tart side of Smaragd rather than power and layers. Not unpleasant by any means but needs food and air to uncoil
