Wow, what a nose. Green apple, confectionary. Slate. Some funk but a sweet appealing funk. Think peak James Brown. A nose that can only come from the Mosel. Man that palate is foinnne, Herb. Super juicy, spritzy and very concentrated. Pure and nimble. Sweet lime. Perfect balance. Awesome lime sweet tart on the finish. Just terrific!

Killer nose. Blast of lime. Big slate. So clean and masterful clarity. Herbs, peppermint. So clear. Fresh rain. Layered. Multidimensional. Superb. Palate has a huge blast of lime sweetness on a hyper elegant frame and then pump out intense mineral lime zestiness that builds on the finish and just lingers. Terrific complexity in the mid palate and what a finish. Massive structure and grip here. So serious. Long, palate staining finish. Great now. Greater down the road. This wine is epic as it gets for Feinherb. Such intensity. Grip. Such structure. Brilliant. 19 is the truth. After air this gets so filigreed and elegant. The real deal.

Blind I would totally guess kabinett. Whatever. A rose by any other name …

Nose is confectionery sugar. Green apple.

Palate is very fresh. Green apple. A touch of jolly rancher. Good tartness.

Unbelievably vibrant. Lime curd, underripe pineapple, hint of apricot, wet slate, petrol. Piercing acidity.

3rd vintage of this producer via sommselect. has the 95 and the 10 and both were absolute knockouts for me. this one shows similar profile, great acid backbone, lovely minerality, honeysuckle, flowers, and some gasoline. not quite as WOW as the older versions but have a few bottles to lay down and guessing they’ll get there too. in love with this producer.

Orchard fruit, slate, slight touch of petrol, dry extract. Honeyed sweetness is well balanced by acid.

2nd time trying this one and i have to say that i even underestimated how perfect this wine is the first time around. 24 years old and in an absolute perfect spot right now. it’s like drinking preserved apples and pears. it’s soft and round but has this perfect miniature bite of acid and a long, honeyed finish. so many layers of flavor and depth. this is a spectacular bottle
