Insane value. Extremely light on its feet with lifted florals, red fruit character and minerality to boot. Ethereal and quaffable. Pinot I want to drink in any scenario; Zalto or paper water cup, wine bar or grungy apartment party.

Incredibly botanical on the nose. Almost smells like a vermouth! Herbs, twigs and a hint of red cherry and rose petal. Red cherry fruit flavors with notes of crushed stones and mint. Unbelievable QPR! “Punches well above its weight.” Fantastic bargain and a most pleasant surprise. Buying some more of this one to put away to see how it ages.

This is good juice. I mean, it’s not 1er cru Burgundy, but it’s $15, and most pinot noir is this price range isn’t even drinkable. Nonetheless, I think you shouldn’t buy it, because I like that German pinot is still kind of under the radar.
