After the 2023 vintage did blow us away at the Wine Store (The Meritage in Encinitas). I really had to meet Max the wine maker. This Chard is young and at this point hard to read - but it is also really good out of the gate. Green apples and so much more….and that for his Gutswein - his basic Chard.

2024 vintage. Gifted by @Pinotman /// Andreas. Thank you!! Light/light-medium body. Presh und fresh. All of the pretty, high treble chardonnay strikes without the corresponding, heavy bass chard thump. Clean but not crispy with plenty of undercurrents, that will eventually emerge, swirling around. Intriguing for sure and worth picking up a few to assess over the next few years but could drink this all night long currently. 3.8.26.
