This wine still tastes like an infant. Great nose has tons of bright crushed rock minerality, lots of green apple fruit, and a light floral/meadow thing. Zingy and electric in the mouth. Bone dry, with an initial whack of fruit that quickly turns all into stones as the finish evolves. Bright acids. Enjoy now or let it sit and evolve over the next several years.

slate slate and more slate. Hammers you over the head. Honey, tangerine, citrus, apple, so deep. Great great aromas. What a value this is. Terrific purity and concentration but so elegant. Overall the elegance is the dominant characteristic. It’s so beautiful. You do not find wine this elegant for $23. Great length. Terrific fruit impact and freshness. Green apple, citrus like tangerine and clementine. Very complex and terrific mouthfeel and balance. Really compelling wine. And elegant and structure wine that speaks of place. Lovely wine.

Aug 29th, 2016This wine is an insane value. Ridiculous nose, confectionery notes, green apple, slate and just clean fresh Mosel air. So evocative. Palate is dry as a bone with cracking green apple fruit and such purity. Terrific complexity and stern mineral finish. I love it.

Aug 12th, 2016This kid can make a rockin trocken. Huge mineral nose with some lemon rind. Some nice peachy pithy fruit as well. Palate is electric and crisp with loads of mineral driven complexity and tart lime-lemon finish. This is brilliant. Better then out of barrel. Bravo, Christophe Licht!

Super mineral and perfect fruit acid balance. Nice citrus aromatics. Really really delicious. A skoche of concentration away from being epic. Young producer to follow. Bought from Fass selections.
