Funky barnyard, juicy red

From Marler bday German Pinot from former@bmx rider

Berries, cherry, bit of banyard.

Paired with duck, and the fruitiness went really well. Some blackberry notes, subtle, but a nice red.

First foray back into wine, this is a really pleasant one, light effervescence, fruit upfront, gets more savory as it opens up in the glass.

Post run

Great food wine. Some bubbles, maybe secondary fermentation in bottle. Really needs time in the glass for that to blow off, the fruit to get pulled back a little, and for the barnyard character to transform into savory.

Needs some time to open up and benefits from a slight chill as well. Light body but really aggressive berry flavor, balanced with medium tannins and acid.

It is red and it is good. Smell like saffron. Surprisingly ripe for someone who people say is avant-garde naturel (that’s a compliment, lots of these people pick too early). Cherry. All day stuff, which is hard for a red wine of this substance

Post run hydration. Pairs well with sweat and a crying newborn. Fresh stuff from Swabia
