Walter Scott, like the novelist. Pale white, excellent clarity. Aromas of Granny Smith apples and citrus. Nice acidity, body, rounded mouthfeel, syrupy viscosity, dried peach and orange flavors. Mineral and lactic finish. Paired perfectly with roasted chicken and winter garden grown baby potatoes and carrots plus some store bought yellow bell peppers. An enjoyable wine; wish it was cheaper and in greater supply.

All of these wines are so delicious but I especially love the whites!! Overriding minerality but some fun friendly fruit as well 🍏🍐🏔

Very light lemon yellow color. Tight and shy on first sniff….then high bright lemon/ lime and tart Granny Smith aromas. Crisp, mineral, unoaked, light in weight, a hint reductive initially; then opening up with zingy acidity that tiptoes across the palate. The wine opens beautifully as it warms and works well with yellowfin crudo and Chicken breast Romesco. The low ABV and lively acid make for a long, interesting finish. By far my best Aligote ever.

Very reduced initially - some manure notes. With air it becomes much more pleasant, moving into struck match, lemon pith and orchard fruit, mineral and bright acid ⚡️
