Dark, brooding purple… touch of toasty oak, green bitter stem, and an ocean of ripe, sweet warm cherry. More weight than anticipated—a serious red packing a punch. Way too young, perhaps a bit more ripeness than desired. A long way from Burgundy, but it grew on me over the course of mustard slathered pork loin, bacon/egg, mustard dressed spinach salad, and honeyed MI carrots. Rich, ripe, lucious…need to wait on fellow bottles.

Soft nose. Body on the lighter side of medium, dry, smooth. Raspberries, cranberries, and strawberries on lovey palate. Excellent wine!
