Tasted another bottle, similar notes. Deep Ruby with ripe red fruit and sweet spices. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors with integrated oak and pepper spice. Fine savory tannins, good structure on a medium finish ending with mineral tones.

The best bottle Wilmington NC has to offer. I mean that literally--I couldn't find a bottle to splurge on beyond this Walt. Control state, what are you going to do. Boring stuff.

Earth and toasted baking Spices jump out on the nose: nutmeg, clove, vanilla. Slight tobacco and cranberry. Again, baking spices jump out on the tongue with slight tart cherry. Silky tannins. Extremely rich and heavy. Would pair well with a 5 spice pork or mushroom stir fry. Not your typical Pinot, but delicious in it’s own way.
