Wallis Family Estate
Little Sister Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon
Ok - another 2011 Napa cab that is much better than critics say - Thomas Rivers Brown is winemaker - the wine even could go another five years - with WNH gang - I was amazed at the vibrancy - deep rich purple color - good balance - length was shorter than hoped for but nose and palette were full of dark black cherries blackcurrents and tertiary notes of cedar tobacco and cocoa - a great QPR for a TRB Napa cab

Jun 8th, 2021Recommended at wine shop since I raced about the Nickel & Nickel cab sauv (unfortunately, don’t remember which one exactly).

On a 23 day cruise, currently in Jordan. Least favorite wine so far. Concur with other comments. Got a little better with main course.

Nov 21st, 2016Needed to decant for a longer than average period to become drinkable. Very odd taste in the beginning. Did get a little better but nothing great.

Oct 11th, 2016Not worth the money. Bad nose and can't place the taste of sour that hits The back of your mouth.
