Single harvest tawny, aka Colheita Port, sourced from Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta das Lages and aged in seasoned oak casks. Very limited edition made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their port aging lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia (built in 1890). Amber color. Delicate nose with scents of caramel and vanilla, reminiscent of Sherry (but not as intense). Round on the palate. Orange flavors. Surprisingly fresh. Long finish. Excellent, but I prefer several Palo Cortados for this price

This is clear pale tawny wine.
The nose is clean with a pronounced complex intensity. Aroma's of marzipan, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee and caramel.
The palate, is lusciously sweet, with high acid, low tannins and medium (+) body. Again a pronounced complex flavour intensity of Aroma's of marzipan, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee and caramel that are long on the finish.
Outstanding wine, which should be enjoyed now.
