Lighting in a bottle!!! Not just a reference to the raw acid and kinetic energy of this wine but also the insanity/ingenuity of the man behind it: the kind of brilliant lunatic who makes a 100% Pinot Blanc champagne (aged on the lees in amphora and neutral oak) and succeeds. A lesser grape, ha! Pristine and powerful with a finish that, like Celine Dion’s heart, goes on and on. Could’ve probably used some more time in bottle to unwind, but to hell with it, it was my birthday and I have no regrets. Paired with fried chicken.

R2014. Pinot Blanc skalmacererat 10 mån i amfora. Skalen och kärnorna flyter på toppen och formar ett skyddande lager. Ingen pigeage, därför ej heller någon djupare färg av skalen.
