Von Winning
Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad Riesling
Second vintage of this wine tasted. A lovey expression that provides one with those fragrant and charming notes that lure the drinker in while providing nice density and richness on the palate. To me Pfalz is Alsace with more elegance and I think this nails that view on the head. A really solid performer in the Von Winning line up. Flowers, ripe citrus and tropical fruit, ample leesy richness, aloe, bergamot.

Aug 16th, 2020Well balanced lemony acidity with soft mineral and petrol notes. Quite full bodied for a Riesling.

Jun 27th, 2018GW Winning tasting 10/24/16. Nose that's now a bit more apricot and nuts. Attractive. Palate again rather soft and balanced but with longer finish of salinity and fruits. Pretty good value at $36. More masculine than Paradiesgarten.
