Marmar Pfalz Riesling

One of the greatest wines out there.

Outrageous stuff...! Very elegant, but stacked with complexity and aromatics... wow.
Would never have guessed Riesling when served blind..

So young, yet so mature. I don’t regret opening this beautiful Riesling already, but I’m anxious how it will develop in the coming years! This Burgundy like Riesling gives flowers, lots of fruit, acidity, minerals and so much well balanced complexity and a lasting aftertaste.

A lot of Potential!

Explosivt aromatisk riesling i nya världen-stil. Mer nyanserad i smaken. Blommor, brioche, äpplen, gummi, mynta, honung. Långt syrligt avslut. Spara denna i 10+ år hade nog varit magiskt.

Served too warm. Such a pity.

First time I have a lesser MARMAR bottle - on past occasions I rated it always 98+ and this is a bottle which is quite flat and simple. No complexity and length. Hope this is just a one off.

This wine always delivers - perhaps the 4th time I tasted MARMAR 2015 and always great. This is one of the future top stars of German Riesling (if it is not already). Top notch.

What a length - keeps going. In the nose schiefer and blue stone, then great in its fruit. Non typical Riesling - will be interesting to see how it evolves over next 10-15 years.
