Blinded, M was quick to make out the producer. The Grunhaus signature was just undeniable - green tea notes, kaffir lime, and the featherweight structure. Wasn’t quite as magical as the 71’ Grunhaus Auslese #24 we had a few nights prior, with traces of honey, petrol, and wax revealing its age, but it was still such a pleasure to drink. Great energy with heaps of minerality.

2016 vintage. Electric acidity, wonderful concentration and length, super delicious! Ripe peach, tangerine peel and flesh, lime, green apple, mango, honeysuckle, orange blossom, crushed rocks, tropical flowers. Quite the panoply of flavors and a finish that doesn't quit. Great concentration and depth, while still light on its feet.
