2017 vintage. Very concentrated and mineral-driven with plantain, pineapple, yellow apple skin, pear, meringue, white rocks, honeysuckle. Definitely dry and fuller-bodied, but acid is still on fire.

Excellent Großes Gewächs Riesling, packed with flavor. A very complex Riesling having passion fruit, tangerine, pineapple, and pear flavors. Stunning. Will improve with age.

On the palate is where the flowery peach emerge. A touch shyer vs H. But there’s precision and quite some depth. Lovely.

Nose very Grünhaus-like with white flowers, shy peach, lemon peel, summer herbs + a pinch of exotics spices. On the palate light & crisp, the initially perceived sweetness balanced beautifully by the fresh & juicy acidity. This is a lovely wine with great value. And very drinkable already now.
