Scharzhofberg Spätlese Riesling

2015 vintage. Fresh peach, lime, green apple, white raspberry, pineapple, a little wintergreen, fresh white flowers, honeysuckle.

Candied Lime and saline minerality wrapped in subtle reduction.

Really nice acidity to temper the sweetness. Also some compelling minerality at play too.

61.4 gr RS in a späte.

Very nice! peach, herb, cherry, and quite ripe. Was expecting this to be a bit more racy from start to finish, but it actually shows remarkable balance, depth, and a combo of ripeness and a brisk, mineral finish. Should evolve nicely.

Grassy almost Chardonnay like

Good Riesling. Sweet. Solid tastes.
