Galilee Grenache Blanc Blend
#KosherWineSunday
Lemon in color with such an interesting nose, that reminds me of a Gewürztraminer.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and a little buttery, with nice complexity.
Showing lemons, green apples, limes, light grapefruits, bitter herbs, tropical fruits and spices.
Medium on the finish with lemons and grapefruits.
This 4 year old Israeli Grenache Blanc is still drinking very nicely. Showing a very pretty and unique nose, with lots of tropical fruits.
I've had it before, and it was drinking better. Showing more complexity now, especially on the nose. Will not get any better from this point, so drink up.
A blend of 90% Grenache Blanc and 10% Macabeo from the Galilee region. Aged for 5 months in New French Oak barrels. Kosher and not Mevushal.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
$41.

Light golden in color.
Nice fruity nose with limes, light oak, white flowers, grapefruits and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Showing citrus, lemons, limes, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, minerals and white pepper.
Nice finish with tangy limes and herbs.
This is a beautiful white wine from Israel. Elegant and soft. Easy drinking and nicely balanced.
This four-year-old is drinking very nicely now, and might get even better in a year or two. I'll need to revisit it next year.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime, when some the oak notes dissipate.
I had the 2017 vintage a few years ago, and this 2020 is better.
Good by itself or with food. Tangy and interesting.

Beats most Grenache Blanc grown other regions, even Rhône. So fresh and lively peach and apricot flavors. Clean and crisp on the finish. Could even age a little longer.
