A really expressive wine from Priorat. Fruity with a lot of black pepper, but not syrah. Just carignan and garnacha, with samsó, mazuelo. Very easy to drink, despite 14.5 alchol, very well integrated.

Strong nose of blackberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, earth, dust, peppercorn, leather, smoke, bell pepper, sage, peppermint, chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate, with cherries, blackberries, black currants, vanilla, licorice, mocha, chocolates, earth and peppercorn.
Medium plus in finish with firm tannins and black pepper.
A very nice and rich Granacha blend from Priorat, Spain. Nicely balanced, complex and interesting and very enjoyable, with a big kick. Drinking nicely now.
A blend of 50% Granacha and 50% Mazuelo.
15% alcohol by volume.

98' #priorat#wine Somewhat muted initially on the nose but opens up to ripe plums and jammy raspberries. Licorella minerality. Wine is a little past prime but still drinkable and enjoyable.

Rosemary, chocolate, deep plum, raspberry, red roses, smoky clays. There is a cedar-plank-on-grill and graphite with black currant, black cherry, oolong, saffron, and orange bitters, but with plum interwoven tightly.
