Extremely fresh on the nose, like a cold breeze, with a melange of tart red berries, charcoal with torrefact soil notes, intense florality, iron, crushed granite, and a slight herbaceous pepperiness. A refreshing midbodied wine that is cool to the touch in the mouth, tart red fruit flavors intermixing seamlessly with intense saline granitic notes that culminate in a mouth puckering piquant herbaceous note.

Much darker, more extracted than other red Ribeiros. A muscular style which I find off-putting, I prefer the more ethereal style coming from the area
