Hard to criticize tannat. Eruptive tannic structure, petroleum, tar and roses. Reminds me so much of young nebbiolo. Abrasive and ferocious before some age settles the energy.

A bit smoky on the nose, dark fruit, prune, plum, there r some savoriness, like soy sauce, med plus tannin, kind fall flat at the end.

Inky and dark. Needs at least an hour to open up. Rich black fruit, chocolate, mocha, perhaps subtle vegetal note. Grippy but not overwhelmingly tannic. Good structure with high acid. Very good now and probably for at least a few years.
