Sancerre Pinot Noir

Bretty, grassy, and herbaceous; doesn't scream drink me. Feels prettier and red fruited in the palate but the nose and palate are like two worlds colliding

2010 vintage. Rich cherry, pomegranate, mocha and a hint of oak on the nose. The palate is rich with a dark cherry core and medium tannins. Delicious Pinot that will last at least another 12-15 years (2027-2030).

Toujours une belle coloration pour les rouges de V Pinard. C'est un rouge sang profond. Les larmes sont assez presentes. Au nez ce 2015 est profond et mûr (le même vin goûté l'an dernier était encore un peu fermé ). On a de belles touches gourmandes de pruneaux et de cerise Kirchee. On a envie d'y croquer. En bouche c'est moins puissant que ce à quoi on s'attendait avec ce nez. C'est rempli de finesse, relativement suave avec une tension amère qui équilibre bien le tout. La longueur n est pas exceptionnel mais on prend un vrai plaisir à boire ce vin avec un poulet rôti.

Excellent and soft

The nose is mysterious, almost nothing, very surprising. On the palate, I would have guessed California in a blind test.

Unusual nose- mushroom, iodine, red fruit (pomegranate, raspberry), touch of oak. Red fruit on palate with good texture. A bit of Brett character but not intense. Wild Loire styling but probably a bit unexpected with quite traditional white table cloth label

Well balanced medium body 2011 vintage. This wine goes well with pretty much anything.
