Sublime Morgeot Rouge, worthy of Dr. Morelot's Tete de Cuvée rating for this cru! Lovely rich, dark fruit and mocha aromas with minerality to match! Great with our roast chicken and a pair of handmade by Cinnamon ravioli!

Wine is in phenominal condition. Beautiful golden hue, amazing nose of toffee and caramel. Palate of subdued fruit. Dry with decent acidity. Reminds me of an orange wine. Will be great with some rotisserie chicken.

We were scared this would be tired, and as we poured it, the slightly amber colour worried us still. we need not worry. This is a peach of a wine. Rich in citrus fruits backed up by apricots and a fine flinty mineral streak, faithful to its Burgundian roots. A real treat, especially as my father pulled this out of a recess in his cellar.
