Stunning Bordeaux blend at its peak maturity now. Hardly any garnet in the vibrant Ruby, velvet tannins, full bodied and exploding with violet, black cherry, black plum, cassis, mint, leather, cedar, tobacco lead. Beautiful balance of fruit, tannin and alcohol. Gorgeous - I’m lucky to have a generous friend!

Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of red and black fruit, dried blackberry, dried black cherry, red plum, wet earth, leather, vanilla; dry, medium acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, full bodied, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; long finish, intensely concentrated dried fruit with funky earthiness, lots of new oak, very good

VIK - the cowboy - shows more oak and fruit on the nose and turns in a big and bold mouthfeel. This is the steakhouse wine. Retail price $140.

Massive wine but has some elegance to compliment its sheer 'presence'. Beautifully pure red fruits. Velvety and seamless tannins. Beautiful with steak. Not sure it's a $100 bottle but it is very very good

Rich, large scaled but very well balanced. Nice acid, soft tannins. 56% can Sauv but the 29% Carmenere is very prominent. Young but drinking well.
