1970 vintage. Cork has pulverized, but this wine is a beauty. Extremely fragrant still fruity, and It was so smooth. It has spent the last 46 years in sublime restorative rest. Wish I could get more.

India ink, rich loam and broken in boot leather. Rounded and mellowing but still with so much freshness and life left in it. Decanted.

This wine is a large fruit forward wine with lots of depth and flush fruit. This is a lovely sumptuous wine. Buy this wine. Lovely balance.

Raw leather, plum, blackberry, prune, anise, dried strawberry, cedar, campfire smoke, black peppercorn. Acid is still moderately present. Tannins have fallen off considerably.

Leakage from the cork. Wine about a quarter inch below taper of neck. Cork had no hope without a Durand. With ah-so it still went straight in-- better than falling apart though. Honestly, I thought this was a bad gamble but wine came out better than I expected. Not prime but still good. 91

Morello cherry, fair amount of acid, a bit of dusty library. A surprising amount of fruit still present. Still a bit of tannin hiding at the end. Still has years of life ahead. Outrageously fantastic.

This is simply a stunner. Cherries and cocoa, still youthful and a few tannins lurking. Extraordinary. The cork, however...

Great effort from Cune, this bottle was in great shape: elegant, classy wine, with deep dried cherry fruit in abundance. For 44 years old, just a remarkable wine

Very thin and flat, on got a tad better either bad bottle or past its prime
